The packaging machine manufacturer Theegarten-Pactec has made a crucial decision for its future management. Robert Berge joined the company's management board on 1st June 2026. This personnel decision is being made in view of the impending retirement of long-serving managing director Dr. Egbert Röhm, who will retire at the end of 2028.
In his career to date, Robert Berge has been responsible for, among other things, managing production areas and, since 2013, the executive leadership of a medium-sized industrial company. In this role, he drove the strategic and operational development of production sites in Germany within an international context.
His areas of focus included the development of long-term sustainable location strategies, strengthening competitiveness, growth, and operational efficiency, as well as supporting transformation processes in value chains and make-or-buy structures. Furthermore, he was responsible for the introduction of modern production, control, and ERP systems.
„I look forward to shaping the next phase of growth together with the team at Theegarten-Pactec. My focus will be on innovation, digitalisation, operational excellence and sustainable value creation.“
Robert Berge
As part of a structured transition phase, Robert Berge will gradually take over responsibilities from Dr. Egbert Röhm, who has been Managing Director of Theegarten-Pactec since 2005. Dr. Röhm will remain with the company as Managing Director until the end of 2028 and will actively support the transition. This also ensures that the company's future leadership structure is arranged in good time.
