Alpla is launching a new mono-material foam dispenser pump. The new solution is made of polypropylene and is fully recyclable. The Alplainject injection moulding division will present the foam dispenser pump with twist-lock function at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai at the beginning of October 2026.
The new foam dispenser is completely free of metal, which significantly improves recyclability. In the standard version, the patented system weighs only 25 grams and features a twist-lock function that saves space during transport and on the shelf. With this new product, Alpla is expanding its pump portfolio by another category. The globally active packaging and recycling specialist already has several versions of a mono-material dispenser on the market.
„Premium skincare products deserve high-quality and well-thought-out packaging. The dispenser is the most important touchpoint. We can offer our customers a customisable, durable and, for the first time, recyclable solution for foam dispensers.“
Sree Hari R Nair, Global Head of Business Pumps and Devices at Alplainject
Following the successful pilot phase, the company wants to collaborate with key customers on commercial production.

Vorsprung through circularity
With the monomaterial foam dispenser, the company is already meeting tomorrow's regulatory requirements today. The system is suitable for bottles with various capacities. It is available in a standard version and allows for numerous customisations. Customers can individually choose the colour and shape of the pump head and closure, and reduce their carbon footprint through the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.
The product development builds on the success of the mono-material dispenser pump and, as a recyclable system, strengthens the circular economy in the national markets.
