Ardagh Glass Packaging is showcasing glass packaging for the pharmaceutical, healthcare and wellness sectors at CPHI in Milan. The focus is on amber glass containers for various applications and filling volumes.
At the trade fair, the company is showcasing its glass packer range with sizes ranging from 60 to 1,000 millilitres. The containers are intended for tablets, capsules, powders, gummy products, vitamins, food supplements and herbal remedies, amongst other things.
The amber glass used is intended to protect light-sensitive contents from UV radiation and thus help maintain product quality. Furthermore, the various sizes allow manufacturers to offer different products within a uniform packaging line.

Amber glass for creams and ointments
In addition, Ardagh is presenting a range of amber glass jars with filling volumes of between 15 and 500 millilitres. According to the company, they are suitable for ointments, creams, balms, healthcare products, samples and vitamins. Matching closures are also available, the company in Luxembourg states.
Ardagh also points to the recyclability of glass: according to the company, the material can be recycled repeatedly and combines product protection with opportunities for high-quality product presentation.
