Siegwerk and X-Rite Pantone are introducing a next-generation, cloud-based colour management solution with Colorwerk FastMatch Cloud. It combines colour formulation, colour correction, and quality control in one integrated system, supporting printers and converters in achieving fast, accurate, and consistent colour results across multiple printing presses, locations, and production processes.
FastMatch Cloud enables printers and converters to centrally manage colour data and retrieve standardised colour recipes via a secure cloud database. This ensures consistent colour results across different printing presses and locations. The platform integrates colour formulation, colour correction and quality control into a single system.
„With FastMatch Cloud, we are changing the way colour data is managed in packaging printing. By combining Siegwerk's formulation expertise with X-Rite Pantone's colour science and cloud technology, we enable our customers to work with reliable, standardised colour data anytime, anywhere.“
Kiran Deshpande, Global Senior Expert Colour Management at Siegwerk
Efficiency improvement and cost reduction
A key advantage of the new platform is the ability to reuse printing inks returned from the printing press in new colour matches or batches. This reduces the inventory of aged printing inks, which in turn lowers costs and saves storage space. X-Rite Pantone's advanced technology enables colour recipes to be delivered in under 20 seconds, representing a 50 percent increase in speed compared to previous systems.
Positive industry feedback
Initial customer feedback already shows significant improvements in day-to-day operations. Kevin Wemple, Plant Manager at CL&D, reported faster colour adjustments and more stable production processes since switching to FastMatch Cloud. The platform helps to increase the first-shot colour match rate, reduce colour consumption, and minimise waste.
Siegwerk will present Siegwerk FastMatch Cloud at Loupe Americas in Chicago from 15 to 17 September 2026.
