DS Smith received three Point-of-Sale (POS) concepts awards in various categories at the Shop! D-A-CH Awards 2026. The judging criteria focused on design, functionality, brand presentation, and sustainability. The creative solutions earned two gold and one silver award.

In the Drinks and Tobacco sector, DS Smith impressed with the „Display F1 Car,“ an XXL sales display for beverage cans. This replica of a race car made from recycled corrugated board attracts attention from afar, while also offering a logistically efficient solution. The beverage cans are presented on Euro pallets placed beneath the vehicle, ensuring both stability and a compact shipping size.

Gold for heart dish

Another concept is the „Heart Bowl Display“ for HiPP, which was awarded gold in the Food, Everyday Goods, and Confectionery category. This presentation aims to encourage children to interact with the brand by integrating a colourful wooden play kitchen, developed in collaboration with Small Foot. After the promotion, the display can be fully recycled through the paper waste stream, supporting the circular economy concept.

Silverware for garden supplies

DS Smith developed a bespoke display in the shape of an oversized watering can for the launch of Compo's new Aqua Depot product range. This presentation, made entirely from recycled paper materials and fitting a quarter pallet, received a silver medal in the Home Improvement, DIY and Garden category. A free-floating water drop beneath the spout visually reinforces the campaign's message: „Help save water.“
