Euromilk, one of Slovakia's leading dairy producers, is commissioning another SIG filling machine. The SIG Slimline 12 Aseptic is intended to help meet the growing demand for products such as drinking milk, flavoured milk and plant-based drinks. This latest investment to expand capacity also comes against the backdrop of Euromilk further increasing its market share in Slovakia.
The SIG Slimline 12 Aseptic enables Euromilk to fill up to 12,000 carton packs per hour in three different sizes. This is achieved with a short changeover time of less than 15 minutes. This flexibility is particularly valuable as consumer trends and preferences are constantly changing. Euromilk is thus able to respond quickly to market demands without having to invest in additional machinery. The technology makes it possible to process different pack sizes and materials, which is advantageous for serving various distribution channels and price categories.
Sustainability as a corporate value
Sustainability plays a central role in Euromilk's corporate strategy. The decision in favour of the SIG Slimline 12 Aseptic underlines this commitment. The machine is capable of processing both conventional and innovative, sustainable packaging materials. These include SIG Terra Alu-free and SIG Terra Forest-based polymers, which are based on renewable raw materials. These materials are ISCC PLUS certified and contribute to reducing the ecological footprint.
Tibor Balogh, Managing Director at Euromilk, emphasises the importance of the partnership with SIG: „Our partnership with SIG has existed for more than 25 years and has helped Euromilk to double its production volume, drive growth and strengthen its position on the local market.“
