These new speciality films offer dimensional stability, strength, clarity and an attractive appearance. Users can use them to design mono-material packaging that meets the requirements of the PPWR.
TPL's new BOPP films are designed to be processed efficiently and consistently at high temperatures. They are particularly suitable for large bags, hot-filling applications, bag-in-box systems and high-speed form, fill and seal lines. The option for double-sided pre-treatment and controlled linear shrinkage ensure the necessary dimensional stability under thermal stress. Optimised coefficients of friction and hot-slip properties also guarantee reliable processes on fast packaging lines.
Diversity and sustainability
TPL offers the heat-resistant BOPP films in various versions: the transparent variants CTF-K414 and CRF-K414 are available in standard and high-performance versions, including in thinner 12µ gauges to save material and increase sustainability. In addition, there is the matt variant DTF-K414. These films enable the development of mono-material PP packaging that facilitates mechanical recycling, provided the appropriate infrastructure is in place.
