IMA Pharma and IMA Med-Tech are presenting solutions for the processing, filling and packaging of pharmaceutical and medical products at CPHI Milan 2026. Exhibits include the Tile-X fill-finish line and the X-Pen Lab assembly platform.

The Tile-X line from IMA Life celebrated its world premiere at interpack 2026 and is now being shown in Italy for the first time. The system is designed for the aseptic filling of ready-to-use components and uses magnetic levitation technology for their transport. According to the company, this ensures that handling is frictionless and without the risk of particle generation. IMA sees areas of application in biopharmaceuticals and cell and gene therapies, among others.

Bottling and assembly solutions

At the IsoTech Lab, IMA Life is also presenting the new VPHP BioIndicator. The biological indicators have been developed for VPHP biodecontamination cycles in isolators. Among other things, they are intended to be used in the development and qualification of corresponding processes.

IMA Med-Tech is also showcasing X-Pen Lab, a semi-automated solution for clinical trials and small-batch production. The system is designed for the assembly of pens and auto-injectors and monitors force and displacement during the press-in process. According to IMA, X-Pen Lab belongs to the X-Pen series, which is based on a linear magnetic transport system. The platform is designed for various product variants and production speeds ranging from 40 to 160 units per minute.
