Kawasaki Robotics focuses on growth with new sales director

Kawasaki Robotics EMEA has appointed Lukas Nagel as its new Head of Sales. This personnel decision underlines the company's strategic growth orientation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The appointment of Lukas Nagel as the new Head of Sales EMEA at Kawasaki Robotics marks another step in the company's growth strategy. Amidst profound changes in the industry, such as the shortage of skilled workers and digital transformation, Kawasaki aims to strengthen its position in the EMEA region.

Lukas Nagel will assume the position with immediate effect and will be responsible for leading the sales organisation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his role, he will be responsible for implementing the regional growth strategy and will further expand collaboration with customers, sales partners and strategic partners. Shuhei Kuraoka, President of Kawasaki Robotics EMEA, emphasises the importance of this personnel decision at a time when demand for automation and AI-powered production processes is increasing. „Lukas brings the necessary leadership experience, sales strength, and customer focus to successfully support our partners and customers with these challenges and to unlock new potential together.“ 

Strengthening customer relationships

Lukas Nagel has over eight years of experience in industrial automation. Most recently, he was at Balluff EMEA as Head of Key Account and Distribution Management In his new role, he will primarily drive the expansion of strategic customer relationships, the further development of the international partner network, and the sustainable growth of Kawasaki Robotics throughout the EMEA region.  

Strategic Investments and Innovations

The appointment of Nagel is part of a series of strategic investments by Kawasaki Robotics EMEA. These include the opening of a new showroom and innovation centre at the EMEA headquarters in Neuss, as well as the expansion of customer-oriented solutions. These measures aim to intensify collaboration with partners and users in the region.
