Rising energy prices and stricter regulations are increasingly putting aluminium manufacturers under pressure. At the same time, digitalisation and automation demand reliable marking solutions that ensure complete traceability. The Digital Product Passport (DPP) for aluminium products, which will become mandatory in the EU from 2030, is an example of such requirements. At Aluminium 2026, Rea will showcase its solutions for compliant and process-reliable marking.
The aluminium industry faces the challenge of applying codes under demanding production conditions that remain readable throughout the product's entire lifespan. Rea Elektronik, a specialist in industrial marking, offers solutions that meet these requirements. At Aluminium 2026, the company from Mühltal near Frankfurt will present its systems for economical and standards-compliant marking.
Integrated Systems for Process Safety
Rea Elektronik offers integrated systems that ensure the highest process reliability. These systems prevent production downtime and reduce waste through controlled code quality, which lowers marking costs. Particularly noteworthy are the Rea Jet DOD and Rea Jet ST marking systems, which can reliably apply large-format markings to aluminium profiles and ingots.
Innovative technologies for diverse applications
The Rea Jet ST SRE-10 electric marking block sets new standards in industrial marking. Its electrically controlled marking heads allow precise control at high speeds and produce legible markings up to a height of 206 millimetres. This technology is particularly suitable for inline marking on fast production lines, even at extreme temperatures.
Manufacturers of aluminium profiles are particularly interested in the wet-on-wet technology of the Rea Jet HR inkjet printer. This technology allows multiple colours to be applied in a single step without drying time, which does not affect production output.

Permanent marking with laser technology
The Rea Laser HD laser engraving system is indelibly marked. It engraves clear text, Data Matrix codes, or serial numbers precisely and permanently into aluminium. For series labelling and constricted production lines, the Rea Laser LC 400 laser cabin offers a suitable solution.
Rea Elektronik offers comprehensive consulting, integration, and service from a single source. All components and systems are developed and produced in Germany.
