At the upcoming CPHI Worldwide in Milan, the Marchesini Group will be focusing on its Pharma and Aseptic business units. These two strategic divisions represent the company's expertise in the fields of pharmaceutical packaging and technologies for the manufacturing of injectable drugs.
This year, the Marchesini Group is placing special emphasis on its Pharma and Aseptic divisions. These two areas are crucial for the manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products. In the Pharma division, the company is focusing on packaging technologies that ensure a safe and efficient production process. The Aseptic unit, on the other hand, specialises in advanced technologies for the production of injectable medicines, which must meet the highest sterility requirements.
Visitors can discover the latest innovations at the exhibition stand, including a monoblock system for syringe inspection and a compact machine for the automated filling and stoppering of vials, syringes and cartridges. These solutions are complemented by systems for small-batch production and laboratory applications developed by Dott. Bonapace – a group brand that is celebrating its 80th anniversary during the trade fair.

A dedicated area is also devoted to digital transformation, where visitors have the opportunity to explore the potential of Morpheus, the predictive maintenance system designed to optimise production output and manage installed machinery more intelligently and efficiently.
Systems for new requirements
On display in the exhibition area will be a selection of machinery developed by the various companies in the group to meet the evolving demands of the pharmaceutical industry. This includes the NSY 200, developed by CMP Phar.ma, a monoblock machine for the automatic inspection of syringes. Thanks to robotic handling, the syringes are transported in a single row to the inspection module, thereby preventing any contact with each other or with metal components. Genisys C is manufactured by the US partner AST and is a fully equipped, trolley-mounted filling and closing platform with a small footprint.

Among the key innovations from Dott. Bonapace presented at the trade fair is an OEB5-compliant capsule filling machine with an integrated isolator, which can fill capsules with any solid or liquid oral formulations. Also on the stand: a double-layer rotary tablet press, a compact single-layer tablet press, and a production line for suppositories and pessaries with integrated filling, cooling, sealing, cutting, and coding systems.
On 7 October, the Marchesini Group and SEA Vision will also jointly present their latest innovations in the field of automated line clearance, a key technology for improving automation and efficiency in pharmaceutical production lines.
