The Marchesini Group will be showcasing an integrated, robot-driven high-speed packaging line for blister packs made from pure polypropylene for the first time at Pack Expo International 2026 in Chicago. The line also includes a cartoning machine with a new automatic carton magazine.
A highlight of the presentation is the introduction of an integrated, robotised high-speed packaging line for polypropylene blister packs. This line, which is being unveiled for the first time on the North American market, combines a blister packaging machine with a cartoning machine that features a new automatic carton magazine. A key feature of the line is the AI-powered Line Clearance System, developed by SEA Vision. This technology supports traceability and quality control and aligns with the goals of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The line aims to gradually replace PVC with recyclable mono-materials.
Versatile labelling solutions
The Marchesini Group is also presenting the BL-H 235, a modular labelling machine specifically designed for the horizontal labelling of products with different shapes. The machine is shown in a configuration demonstrating its versatility and precision by labelling pens. Thanks to an integrated vision system with cameras, the unit can label products with irregular profiles, ensuring the correct orientation of the labels.
Further innovative technologies
Alongside packaging solutions for blister packs and labels, the AXO 800 will also be presented, an automatic tube filling machine for the cosmetics industry. This machine is designed for filling and dosing plastic tubes, offering high efficiency and precision.

Another innovative system is the New Picking Station (NPS), an in-house developed robotic pick station that combines advanced handling systems with AI-powered 3D vision technology. This station enables ultra-fast feeding and handling of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
Digital applications and predictive maintenance
The Pack Expo also offers a platform to discover the Marchesini Group's digital applications. Special attention is given to Morpheus, an AI-based system for predictive maintenance. This system monitors machine parameters, ensures optimal machine settings, and collects comprehensive historical data throughout the machine's entire lifecycle.
