Sustainability and functionality are two requirements placed on modern packaging solutions. In this context, Ströbel has developed the new Mono-Line Black aroma protection pouch. The pouch is made of mono-material and is designed to offer a visually elegant and at the same time recyclable alternative to conventional composite packaging.
The Mono-Line Black stands out visually from other packaging colours. The black surface ensures that printing inks and graphic design elements contrast more strongly. In addition, its opacity and increased UV protection support the product quality and shelf life of light-sensitive foods. However, the new aroma protection pouches are also intended to improve recyclability through the use of mono-materials.

After use, the bags can be easily disposed of in the yellow bin or yellow sack, thus returning to the recycling loop. The recyclability of the bags – including print, zipper and valve – has been tested and rated at 94 per cent by the independent cyclos-HTP institute in Aachen.
Black design for diverse applications
The black design of the aroma protection pouch is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional. It protects the packaged products from light while offering an elegant packaging solution. This makes the pouch particularly suitable for high-quality products that require both protection and an appealing presentation.
The Mono-Line Black can already be ordered from stock in small quantities as side-gusseted or stand-up pouches. In addition, printing is available to individual customer requirements and from a size-dependent minimum quantity.
