SalzburgMilch is the first company in Europe to use the modern SIG Dome Mini 12 Aseptic filling machine and is now launching the first products in Dome Mini, SIG's on-the-go carton bottle. The Austrian dairy company is launching the products with two of its most popular children's drinks – Alex Chocolate Milk and Lisa Vanilla Milk.
SIG DomeMini combines the advantages of carton packaging in terms of product protection, sustainability, and logistics with the convenience of a bottle. The packaging has been developed for UHT products such as specialty milk and protein drinks, plant-based alternatives, meal replacements, and more, opening up new product possibilities for the European food and beverage market.
For consumers, DomeMini offers particular drinking comfort thanks to a large, central closure. The packaging is also easy to open, reseal and store – and allows the contents to be conveniently enjoyed from the pack down to the last drop.
Pioneer of European Dairy Farming
The close partnership with SIG enables SalzburgMilch to launch DomeMini as a pioneer in the European dairy industry – a packaging solution characterised by strong visual differentiation, convenience, and a high proportion of renewable raw materials, offering added value to both manufacturers and consumers.
For brand manufacturers and retailers, the market launch of SIG DomeMini in Europe offers an additional incentive to partner with SalzburgMilch in the area of co-packing. SalzburgMilch's central European location is ideally suited for efficient logistics and distribution throughout the region.
Further innovative on-the-go beverages from brand manufacturers and retail partners are already in development and are expected to be launched in the coming months.
