The optimisation of packaging lines is at the heart of Sidel's presentation at this year's Pack Expo International 2026. The focus is on improving line performance, flexibility and resource utilisation. The trade fair highlight is the introduction of a new palletising system.

A highlight of the trade fair is the introduction of RoboAccess_Pal S, a compact palletising solution that combines the performance of robotics with the agility and accessibility of cobotics. This solution is specifically designed for low and medium-speed lines and enables higher payload and speed without the footprint of a conventional robot system.

With a footprint of less than 12 square metres and a speed of up to eleven cycles per minute, the RoboAccess_Pal S offers an efficient way to automate manual palletising processes and adapt to changing production requirements.

What's new in beverage production

Sidel is also showcasing new technologies such as the EvoBlow Laser, which improves performance and sustainability in the production of PET bottles. For sensitive beverages, Aseptic Predis X4 combines food safety, operational performance and sustainability in a single system. The Swing Evo, a new generation of tunnel pasteurizers, offers intelligent control with significantly reduced resource consumption.

Digitalisation for performance enhancement

Another key focus is digitalisation. With Evo-On, a cloud-based suite, Sidel monitors and optimises the performance of packaging lines. By analysing 24/7 real-time data, proactive measures can be taken to increase efficiency and minimise downtime.

Education and expert knowledge

Alongside presenting new technologies, Sidel also offers educational programs to help customers identify bottlenecks and eliminate inefficiencies. In one-hour sessions, the concept of Balanced Line Design is introduced, providing practical, data-driven insights into optimising line performance.
