The Red Dot Award Communication Design is considered one of the most important design competitions globally and enjoys high prestige in both the agency industry and in commerce. This year, the Peter Schmidt Group surpassed its previous record results with a total of ten awards. The agency is sending a strong signal with a total of four awarded projects in the area of Consumer Branding.
In the field of consumer branding, Peter Schmidt Group made a strong impact. Four projects received awards, including the brand relaunch and packaging design for the coffee brand Bellissimo, as well as Delta Cafés„ premium line “Signature". The new look for the shower gel classic Cliff also impressed the jury. The agency carefully modernised the brand's core elements and created a contemporary appearance that transports the values of the 90s cult brand into the present. Inga Wolter, Executive Creative Director at Peter Schmidt Group, emphasises that Cliff can appeal to new target groups through the new context.

Holistic Approach in Consumer Brands
Lukas Cottrell, CEO of the Peter Schmidt Group, explains that consumer brands should not only stand out through eye-catching packaging, but must also be present and meaningful in consumers' daily lives. This holistic approach is reflected in the award-winning projects, which impress not only visually but also conceptually.
The most successful work is the new brand identity for Barmer health insurance: This depicts Barmer as an accessible, human, and at the same time digitally-minded health insurance provider through all brand elements – from the logo and colour palette, to the animation style, the modularly designed brand sound, and the new corporate typeface „Barmer Beat“. The project is being recognised not only for its Corporate Design Relaunch and Brand Design but also for its Type Design.

Telekom's Motion Design is impressive
Another highlight of the agency's portfolio is the motion design for Deutsche Telekom. The „Magnetic Motion Idents“ for MagentaTV, developed by Peter Schmidt Group, utilise Telekom's new motion identity and offer significant storytelling potential in short trailers. The personal branding for top chef Kiko Martins and the posters for the „Future Playgrounds“ design conference also showcase the agency's breadth and creativity.
With ten awards at the Red Dot Award, the Peter Schmidt Group continues its successful run in international creative competitions. In addition to the Red Dot Awards, the agency also collected seven awards at the Portuguese M&P Design Award and received further accolades at the German Brand Award, ADC Competition, iF DESIGN Award, D&AD, and the FAB Awards.
