The „European Carton Excellence Award“ recognises innovative and sustainable packaging designs from the industry every year. The public vote now offers the opportunity, until August 24th, to help choose this year's winner of the renowned public award, alongside experts and industry colleagues from across the entire value chain.
The European Carton Excellence Award 2026, organised by Pro Carton and the European Carton Makers Association (ECMA), aims to identify the best packaging designs that are both innovative and sustainable. This award highlights the importance of carton as an environmentally friendly packaging material and promotes the use of recyclable materials in the industry.
Voting participation
The public has the opportunity to vote for the winner of the audience award until 24 August. Voting is via the Website from Pro Carton and allows participants to cast up to three votes per category.
Promoting Young Talent
In addition to the main prize, Pro Carton also organises special awards for students to encourage the next generation of designers. The Pro Carton Young Designers Award and the Pro Carton Student Video Award offer young talent the opportunity to present their innovative ideas to a wide audience. Here too, public voices are needed to support the best student projects.
The winners of the various categories will be announced during the annual ECMA congress on 17 September in Rome.
