Companies must adapt their processes in order to fulfil the recycling and reusable requirements by 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)<\/strong> of the EU has been <strong>11 February 2025<\/strong> comes into force and sets new standards for sustainable packaging design, reusable systems and waste management. Companies are faced with the challenge of adapting their processes to the requirements by 12 August 2026 at the latest in order to avoid penalties, as stated.<\/p>\n<p>Until <strong>2030<\/strong> must <strong>All packaging recyclable in the EU<\/strong> while the use of <strong>Reusable systems gradually becoming mandatory<\/strong> becomes. In particular the <strong>Logistics industry<\/strong> is under high pressure to adapt: According to the regulation, by <strong>2040<\/strong> <strong>70 per cent of all transport packaging materials can be reused<\/strong> be.
