With its NFC labels, Schreiner MediPharm has developed a secure digital solution that offers optimised counterfeit and tamper evidence and enables interactive patient support. Using a smartphone, users can quickly and reliably check whether they are holding an original product in their hands.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The trend towards self-medication with pens and autoinjectors is increasing. While traditional sealing solutions and open authentication features already offer patients a certain degree of protection against possible counterfeiting, digital features significantly increase security. Schreiner MediPharms <strong>NFC labels have integrated chips with an encryption function<\/strong>, whose codes cannot be falsified or manipulated. The end user must <strong>simply hold their smartphone up to the NFC label,<\/strong> to check the authenticity of the product in a matter of seconds.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>First opening indication and protection against grey market activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to its special design, the NFC label encloses part of the cap of the pen or autoinjector and thus enables digital authentication as well as <strong>an irreversible digital sealing function<\/strong>. When scanned with a smartphone, the system automatically checks whether the product is intact or has already been opened.
