With intelligent adhesive systems, smart controls and melt-on-demand technology, Nordson is presenting forward-looking solutions for energy-efficient packaging at Ipack-Ima in Milan.<\/p>\n

At this year's Ipack-Ima (27-30 May 2025, Fiera Milano, Hall 5\/Stand 67), Nordson will be presenting its latest technologies for hot melt application in the packaging industry under the motto \u201eWe Keep Your Line Running. Every Day, Everywhere\u201c, Nordson will be presenting its latest technologies for hot melt application in the packaging industry. The focus will be on solutions for maximising uptime, reducing operating costs and optimising energy efficiency in packaging lines.<\/p>\n

Sustainable solutions for end-of-line packaging<\/h3>\n

Nordson will showcase specially developed systems for packaging applications in the beverage industry, e-commerce and pallet stabilisation without plastic. These are aimed at both machine manufacturers and packaging line operators and offer robust, long-lasting adhesive bonds for applications such as tray production, carton and box gluing, bag-in-box, bottle labelling and wrap-around packaging.<\/p>

Smart and connected: Spectra Link & ProBlue Flex<\/h3>\n

One highlight is the new Spectra Link control system, which can be used to precisely control adhesive application patterns and centrally manage all Nordson systems. The intuitive user interface simplifies operation and process monitoring - a clear contribution to material savings and increased quality, according to the company.<\/p>\n

Also in the spotlight: the ProBlue Flex melter with SmartMelt technology, which saves energy thanks to intelligent temperature management and is ready to start production at any time. Combined with PureFlow hoses, the melt-on-demand technology prevents adhesive degradation and thus ensures consistently high application quality.<\/p>\n

Focus on material savings and precision<\/h3>\n

Nordson's solutions for adhesive flow control and verification modules reduce waste, increase precision and improve process control, according to the company. The result: lower material usage, less energy consumption and consistent product quality - especially against the backdrop of increasing demands for sustainability and process reliability.<\/p>\n
