While orders in the mechanical and plant engineering sector fell by around 8 % according to the VDMA, Herma's mechanical engineering division recorded an increase in turnover of a good 6 % to 62.9 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWe continued to grow in the first quarter of 2025,\u201c explains <strong>Martin K\u00fchl, Business Unit Manager Machines at Herma<\/strong>. Automated labelling for complex packaging and product formats is becoming increasingly relevant - particularly in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and logistics sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The 50,000th Herma labeller was produced in 2024. As the device base grows, so does the need for customised service packages, preventive maintenance and digital remote maintenance modules.
