The internationally experienced technology manager will bring extensive expertise from the fields of digitalisation, AI and high-tech industry to the future development of the robotics specialist.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Supervisory Board of Kuka AG has appointed Christoph Schell (53) as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As Chief Commercial Officer at Intel, he was responsible for sales, marketing and communication worldwide. He focussed on 3D printing, digital manufacturing, computing and artificial intelligence (AI) - key topics for the future that are also of crucial importance for the robotics and automation industry.<\/p>\n<h3>Already very familiar with Kuka<\/h3>\n<p>Schell has already been a member of the KUKA Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Strategy and Technology Committee since the beginning of 2023. Schell has lived in the USA for more than ten years and previously worked in Asia for many years.
