Whether vegetables, cheese, fish, meat and sausage products or convenience products - it offers maximum product protection and the best barrier properties for a wide variety of foods.

The innovative Monoline bag uses less than five per cent EVOH and is therefore considered a PE mono-material solution. This is because it is recognised as recyclable in the EU, the new vacuum bag fits seamlessly into the recycling cycle. Mono-material bags therefore facilitate recycling and support a resource-saving circular economy in the food and packaging industry.

„The impetus for the development of our monoline came directly from the market. Retailers and customers increasingly want single-material solutions in order to comply with the EU packaging regulation. This stipulates that all packaging in the EU should be recyclable or reusable by 2030. Monomaterial solutions such as our Monoline are one way of achieving this.“

Peter Hotz, Allfo Managing Director

(Image: Allfo)

With its film structure of PE-MOD, bonding agent and PE-EVOH, the 100μ-thick vacuum bag offers excellent barrier properties and a high level of protection. reliably protects the packaged food from moisture and oxygen. It preserves the flavour and freshness of vegetables, cheese, meat, sausage, fish and convenience products.

The sealed edge bag also impresses with good mechanical properties such as puncture resistance, flexibility and optimum sealability. It offers high machinability and is suitable for use on all standard vacuum chamber machines.

Extensive range

Monoline is available as a 3-sided sealed edge pouch in 100µ thickness.
