Omron's automation experts will be showcasing innovative solutions for flexible, efficient and intelligent manufacturing at Automatica 2025 in Munich. Collaboration with strong partners in favour of practical automation solutions is the focus of this year's trade fair appearance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Omron<\/a> is presenting the new OL-450S mobile robot for the first time at Automatica 2025 from 24 to 27 June. With its integrated lifting function, the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) enables the flexible transport of trollies and racks. It is Designed for quick, uncomplicated use<\/strong>, without companies having to make changes to the existing infrastructure. The robot can also handle numerous different types of trolleys (carts) and navigates safely, even in confined spaces.<\/p>\n

Another Automatica highlight is the demo of the AI bottling<\/strong> (AI Bottling Demo) from Omron, which Traceability, artificial intelligence and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) modelled on real production lines combined<\/strong>. An integrated robot condition monitoring system provides insight into the condition and performance of Omron Scara, Delta and articulated robots, supports predictive maintenance and helps to reduce total cost of ownership. As a provider of complete automation solutions, Omron can extend this monitoring function beyond robotics to entire machines in the future.<\/p>

Driving innovation forward together<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For the first time this year, the company will be welcoming three of its German system integrators to the stand, who will be presenting their own innovative automation systems based on Omron's AMR and cobot technologies:<\/p>\n

  • Customised automation and testing technology:<\/strong> Engmatec GmbH, based in Radolfzell, develops customised automation and testing systems for electronic products in industries such as automotive, medical technology and consumer electronics. Its core competencies are contacting, test plugs and intelligent process optimisation solutions. Engmatec's modular robot workstation \u201eFleximate\u201d is suitable for a wide range of industries and provides a flexible response to the challenges posed by the shortage of skilled labour.<\/li>\n
  • Mobile robotics and image processing in use:<\/strong> EngRoTec Solutions GmbH from the Konrad-Zuse town of H\u00fcnfeld has many years of experience as an expert in robotics, automation, hardware and software development and industrial image processing. The company supplies and integrates advanced robot systems with a focus on mobile manipulation and user-friendly operating software. The mobERT presented at the trade fair improves quality, increases efficiency and safety and relieves employees of repetitive and joint-straining activities.<\/li>\n
  • Mobile robotics with intelligent application setups for efficient material flow: <\/strong>MartinSystems GmbH, based in Nagold, specialises in the development and construction of special and standard machines for various industries and technologies. With around 80 employees and over 55 years of experience, the Martin Group offers intelligent solutions for automated material handling. In the field of mobile robotics, these include the HighLift MKB for lifting containers up to a height of around three metres, the MagMover for PCB magazines and other systems for efficient interim storage in digital production environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Mobile robots in the production mesh-up<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Omron is also taking part in this year's \u201eMobile Robots in Production Mesh-up\u201c (Hall B4.330). Here the Focus on real use cases in logistics and intralogistics as well as the coordination of mixed robot fleets<\/strong> Two solutions supported by Omron will be on display in this interactive part of the exhibition.<\/p>\n

    • MoMa from Waitkus (Mobile Manipulator):<\/strong> A co-operation project with Omron's partner Waitkus. This special robot can not only move a wide variety of materials, but also handle and interact with them. This MoMa is ideal for flexible automation scenarios.<\/li>\n
    • MasterControl MHP:<\/strong> This system shows how mobile robots from different brands can be managed intelligently and work together seamlessly in production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
