System service provider Dotch is responsible for providing, collecting and cleaning the bottles. The returnable bottle can be returned to the reverse vending machine and is collected via existing product flows.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>By participating in the Dotch reusable system, Mani aims to reduce CO<sub>2<\/sub> compared to disposable packaging.<sup>\u00a0<\/sup>The robust standard bottle can be reused up to 50 times and is 20 per cent lighter than conventional oil bottles. Conserving resources is also a top priority when it comes to cleaning: it is carried out in the same way as the established and efficient rinsing process in the beverage sector. <strong>The removed labels are disposed of as waste paper and the spouts and lids are recycled.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<figure id=\"attachment_103109\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-103109\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-103109 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Felix-Blaeuel-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-103109\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(Image: Mani Bl\u00e4uel)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201eThe topic of reusability has been with us for several years - including in the course of the joint development of the reusable system with Dotch. It was important to me personally to offer a reusable solution that meets the needs of customers and retailers. Customers can simply return the deposit bottle later. <strong>hand them in at the reverse vending machine or at the checkout at over 1,400 return points in organic food shops<\/strong>, including Denns BioMarkt, Alnatura, BioCompany and ebl Naturkost.<\/p>\n<p>Mani Bl\u00e4uel was involved in the development phase of Dotch's first reusable bottle for edible oils on the German market back in 2022.
