The Empack and Logistics & Automation trade fairs celebrated their successful Hamburg debut together with all about automation on 3 and 4 June 2025 - for the first time in the Hanseatic city's exhibition centre and for the first time as a trio. 347 exhibitors and 3,542 trade visitors came to the city centre for the premiere. The feedback from exhibitors and visitors was consistently positive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The trade fair duo moved from their previous location in Hamburg-Schnelsen to the centrally located exhibition centre. \u201eThe new location is simply more accessible for the communities and the entire infrastructure is right,\u201c says project manager Maria Soloveva. The three-way format with all about automation was also well received, according to reports - primarily due to synergies in terms of content in the fields of automation and intralogistics.<\/p>\n

Specialist presentations on controversial topics such as PPWR<\/h3>\n

At the Insights Stage, experts from industry and research shed light on current topics, including the EU packaging regulation (PPWR). The presentation by the German Reusable Packaging Association on system solutions for reusable packaging was particularly popular - a signal of how strongly sustainability and the legal framework are shaping the industry, it is said.<\/p>
