The basis for this is a material from Borealis, which is based on chemically recycled ReOil raw material from OMV.

The initiative is a pilot project to reduce the number of disposable cups at major events. The aim is to gain insights for the implementation of sustainable, scalable reuse systems. Among other things, the trade fair will analyse the return behaviour of visitors and record the reuse and recycling rates.

„Reuse systems are key to making large-scale events more sustainable, and our foam solutions support this by enabling lightweight, durable and fully recyclable applications that use less material than conventional alternatives,“ emphasises Peter Voortmans, Vice President Marketing Consumer Products at Borealis.
