Literally translated, this means \u201efree from degradation\u201c. For the new DF hot melt hoses with a metal inner core, however, it means free from burning.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThe metal inner liner significantly increases process reliability in hot melt applications. This is because it reliably prevents oxygen from diffusing into the hoses if they are heated up over a longer period of time - for example, because machine operators forget to switch off the melters before the weekend. Tests have shown that the hot melt adhesives in the DF hot melt hoses remained unchanged and clear after 50 hours at 180 degrees Celsius. Their quality has not deteriorated even after this long period of time. This means that the metal inner core generally prevents the adhesives in the hoses from burning.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Walther,<\/strong> Head of Corporate Strategy &amp; Innovation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>With the new DF hot melt hoses from Baumer hhs, there are no more machine failures due to filters and nozzles clogging up because of coking. In short: production lines with hot melt systems that are converted to these hoses, <strong>are characterised by higher availability<\/strong>. There are further advantages: The new DF hot melt hoses require less maintenance.
