{"id":104617,"date":"2025-07-22T14:06:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T12:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=104617"},"modified":"2025-07-22T10:48:35","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T08:48:35","slug":"lidl-introduces-digital-deposit-receipt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/lidl-fuehrt-digitalen-pfandbon-ein\/","title":{"rendered":"Lidl introduces digital deposit vouchers throughout Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>From the beginning of August, Lidl customers throughout Germany will be able to save and redeem their deposit amounts via the Lidl Plus app. This makes Lidl the first food retailer in Germany to introduce the digital receipt in all of its shops.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By dispensing with paper vouchers, the discounter in Germany wants to make a contribution to environmental protection. In addition, all available and already redeemed vouchers can be viewed at any time in the Lidl Plus app. Automatic storage enables better control and eliminates the need to keep paper receipts. Lost or forgotten vouchers are now history.
