The transaction is expected to be finalised in the coming weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With this acquisition, Heidelberg has secured the exclusive worldwide distribution, service and marketing rights for Polar Mohr's postpress systems. The aim is to, <strong>strengthen the solution portfolio, particularly in the area of packaging and labelling production<\/strong> - a fast-growing market with potential, particularly in Asia, South America and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eHeidelberg aims to achieve targeted growth in attractive market segments through M&amp;A activities. With this acquisition, we are emphasising our claim to be a full-range supplier for our customers in the packaging and label industry, including service, and securing exclusivity in a growing market. As a system integrator, we cover the entire value chain of a packaging print shop, fully integrated and networked for highly productive production.
