The 2025 public vote for the European Carton Excellence Award, Pro Carton Young Designers Award and Pro Carton Student Video Award competitions is now open. Consumers, industry experts and university representatives are invited to cast their votes to determine the best cartonboard innovations of the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The European Carton Excellence Award<\/a>, which is organised by Pro Carton, the European Association of Cartonboard and Carton Manufacturers, and the European Carton Makers Association (ECMA), is the most important award for cartonboard packaging design, recognising the best in cartonboard packaging design. Top performance in the design of innovative, environmentally friendly packaging<\/strong> be recognised and rewarded.<\/p>\n

The 30 top designs shortlisted for the European Excellence Award Public Award include renowned names from the cartonboard industry, all of which are characterised by innovation and environmental responsibility in equal measure. These include leading cartonboard manufacturers and converters as well as brand owners and designers<\/strong> of the carton packaging industry.<\/p>

The design that receives the most votes will win the coveted Audience Award 2025, and the public can cast up to three votes per competition to support their favourites. Voting ends on Friday, 23 August<\/strong>\u00a0at midnight. During the same period also about the Pro Carton Young Designers Award and the Pro Carton Student Video Award<\/strong>, Europe's leading annual young talent competition for packaging design and storytelling. Both awards aim to promote sustainable packaging, circular economy and innovation among young designers and filmmakers across Europe.<\/p>\n

The winners of all three competitions will be announced on Thursday, Thursday 18 September 2025, at the official awards gala in Istanbul\u00a0<\/strong>will be announced. The finalists will be invited to the official award ceremony.<\/p>\n
