At Fachpack 2025, the focus will be on labels for the digital product passport and innovative adhesive solutions.

The new Structure Coating technology allows adhesives to be applied in a targeted manner in terms of shape and thickness for the first time. This results in labels with special functions - such as resealable lid stickers for plastic packaging that make tampering attempts visible thanks to VOID effects. According to the company, the process is cheaper than conventional welding and should enable new applications in packaging design.

Labels for circular economy and PPWR

The forthcoming EU packaging regulation (PPWR) requires more recyclability and reusability.
