The safe handling of lithium-ion batteries presents companies with major challenges - especially in terms of transport and storage. At Fachpack 2025, the Craemer Group will be showcasing its tried-and-tested UN-certified pallet boxes for hazardous goods. The focus will be on the CB3 series, which has proven itself in practice in the large-scale recycling of batteries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A German joint venture, consisting of a specialised logistics service provider and a recycling company, uses Craemer CB3 pallet boxes for the integrated handling of lithium-ion batteries. Most of the batteries come from the automotive industry and must be stored, transported and processed sensitively and in compliance with the law.<\/strong> The project relies on around 1,300 of the robust plastic boxes, which have already been in successful use for over a year.<\/p>\n

The CB3s have proven to be reliable in handling our hazardous goods elements, according to the joint venture. The boxes fulfil the highest safety standards and ensure a smooth flow of materials<\/strong> - from unloading and repair to recycling or disposal.<\/p>

Technical features of the CB3 series<\/h2>\n

The UN-certified pallet box CB3 in industrial dimensions (1237 \u00d7 1036 \u00d7 766 mm incl. lid) is equipped with three runners, offers a volume of 610 litres and allows a permissible gross weight of up to 438.8 kilograms. It has integrated tensioning straps and is ideal for storing and transporting non-critically defective lithium batteries. The design ensures durability, economy and a high level of safety even under demanding operating conditions.<\/p>\n
