The updated CLP Regulation changes the requirements for the labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures. New regulations for product launches will apply from May 2025, while transitional periods until 2028 will give companies time to change their labelling. The Rhineland-Palatinate-based company KD Labels now offers a suitable solution with its multi-page adhesive labels.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CLP stands for \u201cclassification, labelling and packaging of chemicals\u201d. One of the key changes in the CLP regulation concerns the design of labels: standardised font sizes, contrasts and, in particular, the use of black lettering on a white background are mandatory. The implementation of these specifications requires significantly more space on the labels - not only for extensive hazard and safety information, but also for multilingual information. Conventional single-sided labels quickly reach their limits here.<\/p>\n
