The Melsungen-based printing company Faubel & Co. Nachfolger GmbH, which mainly produces booklet labels and special labelling for the pharmaceutical industry, acquires a majority stake in SIL System Integration Laboratory GmbH, a specialist for RFID (radio frequency identification) solutions, with immediate effect.<\/p>\n

The companies already have a long-standing partnership, which will be further intensified by the investment. Tobias John<\/strong>, who has been Managing Director at SIL for five years, will continue to hold this position. He sees the collaboration as a positive symbiosis: \u201eIn the course of so-called Industry 4.0, the linking and digitalisation of processes is becoming increasingly important. For the realisation of this claim in practice RFID a key technology<\/strong>.\"<\/p>\n

SIL offers a full-service approach, from research projects, software development and system integration to life cycle management for existing applications. \u201eFaubel has exceptional expertise as a producer of labelling and is globally positioned. Both companies will therefore benefit equally from the investment.\u201c<\/p>

Frank J\u00e4ger<\/strong>, who is responsible for Business Development, Marketing and R&D at Faubel as a member of the Management Board, will act alongside Tobias John as Managing Director of SIL GmbH and manage the integration into this branch of the company.<\/p>\n
