FKuR will be presenting new solutions from its portfolio of PPWR-compliant and recyclable plastics at Fachpack. The solutions include post-consumer recyclates (PCR) and recyclate compounds developed in-house, as well as bio-based and biodegradable plastics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among other things, the company will be exhibiting the new Macolen PP compounds. They are based on post-consumer and post-industrial recyclates<\/strong>, are RecyClass-certified and are suitable for numerous non-food applications. With variants for injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion, products ranging from cosmetics containers to plant pots can be produced.<\/p>\n

Paluren - Recycling from beverage cartons<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With Paluren, FKuR is expanding its portfolio to include an LDPE recyclate with a special look<\/strong>. Obtained from beverage cartons in a mechanical-physical process, it contains around four percent aluminium flakes. Paluren is versatile, compatible with common processing methods and fulfils relevant recycling certifications.<\/p>

Drop-in solutions for food packaging<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In light of existing regulatory hurdles around the use of recyclates for food applications, Braskem's biobased and recyclable drop-in solutions such as I'm green biobased offer the necessary alternatives to recyclates. Customised Green PE compounds such as Terralene and Terralene PP are also available for a variety of applications such as injection moulding, blow moulding and film extrusion.<\/p>\n
