At Labelexpo Europe, Screen and DeCoSystem SRL will be presenting the Sentinel Platinum inspection system, integrated into the Truepress Label digital inkjet label printing machines, for the first time.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Screen has teamed up with DeCoSystem SRL to integrate their Sentinel inspection system with the Truepress Label digital UV inkjet label presses. At Labelexpo, visitors will be able to see the inspection system in action on the Truepress Label 350UV SAI S.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sentinel series from DeCoSystem offers different inspection resolutions depending on the printing method and desired output<\/strong>. For high-speed digital and hybrid digital\/flexo systems, the Sentinel Platinum model delivers the highest performance by utilising a Contact Image Sensor (CIS) and a customised lamp, to precisely inspect high-resolution labels<\/strong> - without affecting the printing speed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Via an intuitive user interface the system recognises a large number of possible errors in real time<\/strong>. In industries with high quality assurance and traceability requirements, it also provides high-resolution data verification by comparing the printed output directly with the original PDF files - including data integrity, readability of barcodes and QR codes and other variable data.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DeCoSystem verification with Truepress label printing<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

With compact hardware and fully integrated, intuitive software, the Sentinel Platinum system can be easily integrated into the Truepress Label 350UV SAI to deliver precise, High-resolution error inspection and data verification at full production speed<\/strong> to make this possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The system also works in conjunction with the screen rewind solution, allowing defects to be localised, corrected and checked. without unnecessary material waste.<\/strong> The reports from the inspection system guide the rewinder specifically to the defects, which supports efficient correction and promotes sustainable production.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
