With this step, the sensor specialist is expanding its range of high-precision force and strain sensors and further strengthening its position in this area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the start of the SINDEX trade fair in Bern, Baumer announced that X-Sensors has been developing and producing force and strain sensors for leading OEMs for 25 years. The integration of the technology and the development teams is intended to strengthen innovation in the field of smart, IO-Link-capable sensor technology.<\/p>\n<h3>Expansion of market position through merger<\/h3>\n<p>The acquisition represents a strategic expansion of Baumer's portfolio.
