The solution is designed to replace non-recyclable composites, ensure shelf life and reduce food waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fresh produce needs protection and convenience: the new tray can be reliably opened and closed several times; in addition, thermoformable base films offer product protection for various chilled goods. For applications with a high oxygen barrier <strong>a PET- and PA-free lidding film<\/strong> which can be securely sealed on PP trays, easily removed and resealed. In combination, this results in a fully recyclable solution with high barrier performance.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Focus on monomaterial and reclose<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>According to Coveris, the MonoFlexBP tray aims to replace non-recyclable multi-materials and increase ease of use at the same time. The reclosure system is designed to extend product shelf life and reduce food waste.
