As a result, this corresponds to an effective thickness of only around two micrometres during the wrapping process - a Significant reduction in material consumption with consistent stability. Thanks to their high mechanical resistance, these films enable fewer reel changes, higher packaging speeds and optimised operating costs without compromising on transport safety.

Hand stretch films pre-stretched ex works

For manual packaging processes - for example in Logistics centres, wholesale or e-commerce - Antalis also offers this Axio film as a pre-stretched hand-stretch version. It is made from the same high-quality base material as the machine films and is available in thicknesses of 4, 5 and 6 micrometres and in widths of 390 and 430 mm.

The pre-stretched film requires no additional stretching during packaging, This noticeably reduces the physical strain on the user and makes the packaging process more efficient. Double-reinforced edges also ensure high tensile strength and stability, even with irregularly shaped loads.

Focus on product sustainability

Due to the significantly reduced use of material - with the same protective effect reduces packaging consumption per pallet by up to 40 per cent.
