Under the brand name „Faubel-Med“, the global supplier of functional labels is now marketing a label that enables continuous updating in medical warehouses and offers real-time reporting and documentation functions.

„Faubel-Med“ consists of a battery-free, always functional „ePaper display“ and a booklet label with integrated RFID technology. Even in sealed packaging, the segmented, bistable label shows the updated expiry date of clinical trial samples. For pharmaceutical companies, this is an alternative to constant relabelling when stability data changes.

Easier handling of test products

Konrad Zachman, Production Manager for New Technologies at Faubel, explains the new Smart label a „ground-breaking product“.
