The innovation is aimed in particular at Applications in the detergent, oil and chemical industries and supports companies in preparing for the upcoming requirements of the EU packaging regulation (PPWR) to be set.

New standards in functionality and sustainability

Powergrip was developed at the Belgian plant in Turnhout and consists of made from a sturdy cardboard box with integrated pouring aid and a vacuum inner bag. This combination not only makes one-handed pouring easier, but also prevents the typical „sloshing“ of the contents thanks to the vacuum technology - which significantly reduces the risk of spillages. According to the manufacturer, the plastic content is up to 75 per cent lower than comparable HDPE containers.

„With the new Powergrip, we are demonstrating how regulatory challenges can be transformed into practical and economical solutions.
