Komori-Chambon is expanding its headquarters in Orl\u00e9ans to 12,000 square metres and creating additional assembly and test areas for the latest generation of printing presses. The expansion increases capacity and complements the existing plant in La Voulte-sur-Rh\u00f4ne in order to better meet international demand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The expansion of the site is part of a growth strategy that has been flanked by two acquisitions in the past two years: in 2024, the US specialist Bernal for rotary die-cutting tools was added, followed in 2025 by the flexographic printing provider CPS Canadian Primoflex Systems, now operating under the name Komori Primoflex Systems (KPS). According to the company, this creates an integrated offering along the entire paper and cardboard processing chain - from printing to die-cutting and tools to delivery.<\/p>\n

Site expansion in Orl\u00e9ans doubles space<\/h3>\n

With the expanded campus, including the \u201eKCube\u201c and competence centre, Komori-Chambon is doubling the space at its headquarters. Newly designated areas will be used for the assembly and testing of the latest generation of machines. The company emphasises that the additional capacity will strengthen its ability to deliver to a growing global customer base.<\/p>

Strategic acquisitions create an integrated offering<\/h3>\n

With Bernal, the Group is strengthening its converting expertise and anchoring its presence in North America; KPS is expanding its flexographic printing expertise in the web-oriented packaging segment. Overall, Komori-Chambon is positioning itself as a comprehensive solution provider for carton converters with coordinated technologies in printing, die-cutting, tooling and delivery systems. For brand and contract manufacturers in the packaging sector, vertical integration means shorter commissioning times, harmonised interfaces and potentially lower overall costs over the line life cycle.<\/p>\n
