Sanner will be presenting its newly developed tethered caps for effervescent tablet packaging for the first time at Pharmapack 2026. The TE safety band, which is firmly attached to the cap, complements the existing portfolio for sustainable packaging solutions, which already includes Sanner BioBase.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tethered caps help to improve the recyclability of effervescent tablet packaging: As the safety ring remains attached to the cap, all plastic components can be recycled together. This should help to reduce the environmental impact caused by microplastics. According to Sanner, manufacturers also benefit from the fact that the solution can be integrated into existing filling processes without machine conversion or process interruption.<\/p>\n

In addition to the new closure solution, Sanner will also be presenting its broad portfolio of desiccant solutions at Pharmapack, including the improved TabTec CR for moisture- and odour-sensitive pharmaceuticals and food supplements. The company will also be showcasing moisture control solutions for devices and diagnostic products.<\/p>

Fully integrated CDMO services<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Following the acquisitions of design and development specialists Gilero and Springboard, Sanner's Medical Device and Pharma CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation) business is now based on fully integrated services: At locations in Europe, North America and Asia, the company offers end-to-end processes from device design and development to design transfer and global production. Customers benefit from an approach that combines design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) and human factors expertise to optimise usability and reduce complexity, development times and project risks.<\/p>\n

Another item on the trade fair programme is a presentation by Stefan Verheyden, CEO of the Sanner Group, and Jim Collins, President of Pharmaceutical Delivery Systems LLC. On 21 January 2026 at 11 a.m. at Pharmapack, they will shed light on the impact of international trade policy on the pharmaceutical industry.<\/p>\n
