Ulma Packaging will be presenting new packaging technologies for fruit, vegetables and convenience products at Fruit Logistica 2026. The focus is on sustainable materials, line integration and efficiency.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Freshness, efficiency and sustainability - these are the guiding principles under which Ulma Packaging will be presenting its latest machine solutions at Fruit Logistica 2026. From 4 to 6 February in Berlin, the packaging specialist will be demonstrating how sensitive products such as fruit, salads and convenience food can be packaged in an efficient, material-saving and sustainable way.<\/p>\n

Four machines, one goal: sustainable efficiency<\/h2>\n

At the centre of the trade fair presentation are four selected machines for different application scenarios. The VTC 800 vertical high-performance machine processes cut salads and vegetable mixes fully automatically - with high output and recyclable mono-materials. The continuously operating Atlanta flowpack machine is particularly suitable for sensitive products in tray packs. It scores with consistent seal quality, even with sustainable packaging materials such as OPP or paper.<\/p>

The Sienna was designed as a compact solution for smaller batches and changing product sizes. The flexible flowpack machine enables trayless packaging with reduced plastic consumption. Finally, the TSA 680 P ensures maximum cycle outputs - for berries, grapes or salads, for example. The high-performance traysealer processes up to 150 trays per minute and is compatible with paper and cardboard-based trays.<\/p>\n

Ready for the PPWR<\/h2>\n

In view of the upcoming requirements of the EU packaging regulation PPWR, Ulma Packaging is focussing on sustainable packaging concepts and comprehensive line integration. In addition to paper and cardboard-based packaging, this also includes systems for reduced film use and end-to-end data integration across the entire line. The aim is to offer producers future-proof solutions for resource-saving and high-performance packaging of their fresh products.<\/p>\n
