Messe D\u00fcsseldorf is thus strategically developing the event further and strengthening its presence in the region. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be an Interpack MEA from 2026. Six years after it was founded, the former Pacprocess MEA is thus focussing even more strongly on the region's international markets. The trade fair will continue to take place alongside Food Africa in the future and create additional points of contact for exhibitors and visitors.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThe new name positions the trade fair as a central hub for the processing and packaging industry in the Middle East and Africa. The food packaging market here was worth around USD 23 billion in 2024 and will grow to more than USD 33 billion by 2032. Egypt plays a key role in this: The country is investing massively in packaging and processing, building new production zones and modernising existing facilities. International brands are expanding their capacities, while local companies are professionalising their processes. With an expected market volume of around 4.9 billion US dollars in 2030, Egypt's packaging market is one of the fastest-growing in the world. For technology providers, machine manufacturers and material producers, this presents significant opportunities for innovation, market entry and investment.<\/p>\n<p>The first Interpack MEA will take place from 7 to 10 December 2026. The Interpack Alliance comprises all Messe D\u00fcsseldorf events that are part of the Processing &amp; Packaging portfolio.
