TemperPack has expanded its production activities in Michigan and relocated the production of its Green Cell Foam insulation material to a larger and modernised facility in Lansing. With the relocation, the company is responding to the increasing demand for sustainable insulation solutions and is expanding its production and logistics capacities in a targeted manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new site in Lansing, Michigan, has around 135,000 square feet of space, offering around 60 per cent more production space than the previous facility. According to the company, new production facilities, an improved IT infrastructure and expanded shipping and receiving areas will enable higher output and more efficient processes.<\/p>\n

The convenient location close to major motorways should also improve connections to freight carriers and business partners. TemperPack expects this to shorten delivery times and further stabilise the supply of its growing customer base.<\/p>

Troy Hagenbuch, Chief Operating Officer of TemperPack, explained that the expansion of the Michigan operations was necessary to meet the increasing demand for Green Cell Foam. The new plant will strengthen the company's manufacturing and service capabilities and increase efficiency, speed and reliability of supply.<\/p>\n

Green Cell Foam is a plant-based, compostable insulation material that, according to the company, offers comparable performance to polystyrene foam while significantly reducing the environmental impact. The expanded production capacity is intended to support TemperPack in serving growing markets such as direct-to-consumer offerings in the food, beverage and life sciences sectors in particular.<\/p>\n
