It does not require a battery and is durable and maintenance-free.

Digital labelling is aimed at users in logistics, production and automation. Among other things, it is designed for reusable containers and load carriers in Kanban and closed-loop processes. The Logistics Label uses RFID for contactless updating of an e-paper display, which visibly displays the variable data stored on the RFID tag. As the Logistics Label does not require a battery, it is particularly durable and maintenance-free.

Focus on update times

CCL Faubel has its own development department for digital labelling, so-called Smart Labels, and has continuously optimised the Logistics Label since its market launch five years ago. Update times have been reduced by up to 50 per cent.

With the Smart Printer Service, CCL Faubel is also presenting an innovative, locally operated solution that combines printing and update processes directly at fixed workstations in the warehouse and production for the first time. The service runs on workstation computers or industrial terminals and processes print jobs from ERP, WMS or comparable systems - without a cloud connection and without additional mobile devices.

„The Smart Printer Service is a fully locally operated update solution that can be integrated into existing IT and process landscapes - without additional isolated solutions.“

Christian Spanuth, Product Lead New Technology at CCL Faubel

In addition, the Android SDK from CCL Faubel enables the update logic to be integrated directly into existing customer apps. Label updates can thus be controlled directly from the application - including progress display, status messages and reading the unique UID for tracking and status queries.

IP65 protection class for demanding environments

The Logistics Label is now also available with protection class IP65. What is particularly new here is the complete dust-tightness: while the label was already reliably protected against water jets from all directions before, the dust protection now achieved opens up new fields of application. For example, in heavily dusty industrial environments with fine, dry particles, where conventional electronic labels reach their limits. This makes it possible to use them in clean zones or clean room areas. CCL Faubel thus extends the application possibilities from classic logistics environments to demanding industrial production areas.

Source: CCL Faubel

CCL Faubel at the LogiMAT 2026: Hall 2, Stand 2D07

At LogiMAT, CCL Faubel will be presenting the latest version of its Logistics Label, which uses RFID for contactless updating of an e-paper display.
CCL Faubel stellt auf der LogiMAT die aktuelle Version seines Logistics Labels vor, das RFID zur kontaktlosen Aktualisierung eines E-Paper-Displays nutzt.
[21
60310,45188,42,84,52
0":"post-111139","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-verpackungstechnik","8":"tag-ccl-faubel","9":"tag-digitalisierung","10":"tag-etikettieren-kennzeichnen-codieren","11":"tag-logimat","12":"tag-logistik","13":"cs-entry","14":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
