Nord Drivesystems is focusing on an extended decentralised inverter platform and standardised drive modules for intralogistics applications - on show at LogiMAT 2026.

Nord Drivesystems is addressing the increasing demand for network-compatible, drive-related control with new variants of the decentralised Nordac Link frequency inverter series. According to the company, Ethernet interfaces are integrated as standard, allowing the devices to be integrated directly into existing communication structures.

For safety-related applications, the inverters support PROFIsafe and FSoE, among others. Functions such as STO, SS1, SLS or SSM are drive-based, and safe digital inputs and outputs are also available for peripheral components. This allows safety concepts to be moved closer to the drive, which can reduce the amount of cabling required.

One system for wall and motor mounting

Functionally, the wall-mounted Nordac Link corresponds to the motor-integrated Nordac On. Both variants are part of a universal modular system for decentralised drive electronics. This supports both asynchronous IE3 motors and highly efficient IE5+ synchronous motors.

Another feature is the sensorless control of permanent synchronous motors using CFC open-loop injection, which can also be used for dynamic applications. The aim is to standardise different drive concepts within a system.

LogiDrive modular kits for conveyor technology

Nord's LogiDrive solution rooms are also based on this architecture. The standardised modules combine motor, gearbox and decentralised electronics to create low-maintenance drive units for applications in warehouse, airport and post & parcel systems.

LogiDrive Advance is designed for energy efficiency and uses the IE5+ synchronous motor in conjunction with the Nordac Link. LogiDrive Basic is based on the Nordac On with IE3 asynchronous motor and is aimed at cost-optimised applications with a compact size.

Energy saving potential in existing buildings

In addition to new drive solutions, Nord will also be focusing on the optimisation of existing systems at LogiMAT 2026. The Nord Eco consulting service analyses energy consumption and identifies potential savings. According to the company, significant reductions in electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions have been achieved in individual projects.

Nord Drivesystems at the LogiMAT 2026: Hall 3, Stand 3C41

Source: Nord Drivesystems

In addition to new drive solutions, Nord will also be focusing on the optimisation of existing systems at LogiMAT 2026.
Nord zeigt dezentrale Antriebstechnik für flexible Intralogistik – mit Nordac Link, integrierter Sicherheit und Energieeffizienz.
[21
60139,84,52,60055,39
0":"post-112628","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-verpackungstechnik","8":"tag-intralogistik","9":"tag-logimat","10":"tag-logistik","11":"tag-nord-drivesystems","12":"tag-verpackungstechnik","13":"cs-entry","14":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
