The company recently presented the so-called Trolley Bag, which at first glance looks like a shopping trolley but has no wheels. This innovative transport packaging is the result of the second collaboration with a world-famous designer, whose name was not mentioned in the announcement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A special kind of transport packaging<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The trolley bag is more than just a conventional shopping bag. It is a homage to the classic shopping trolley, but in a static form. While conventional shopping trolleys are fitted with wheels to facilitate the transport of goods, the trolley bag remains stationary. Nevertheless, it offers sufficient space for shopping and could therefore be seen as a special kind of transport packaging.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Availability and design<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Lidl has announced that the trolley bag will be available in a limited edition. Interested customers will have the opportunity to take part in a prize draw to win one of the coveted bags. This exclusive availability could further boost demand, as the trolley bag will not be available in regular stores. Whilst it mimics the shape of a shopping trolley, it forgoes the mobility that one would expect from such a product. This could be interpreted as a critical commentary on modern consumer society, in which mobility and flexibility are often taken for granted.
